Current delivery delays – a personal update from our founder

A message from the founder

Dear customers — and everyone who’s thinking about becoming one,

I want to share a short and honest update about our current situation.

Running a small, independent company isn’t always easy — and right now, we’re going through a particularly challenging phase. A difficult economic environment, rising costs, and the loss of key team members have unfortunately led to delivery delays and longer waiting times.

We’re working hard every day to stabilize all processes and bring everything back on track. But some things simply can’t be fixed overnight.

That said, there’s one thing I want to be very clear about:

If you’ve placed an order, it will be delivered — even if it takes longer than planned.
And if you decide you don’t want to wait any longer, you can of course request a full refund at any time.

Why this is happening

The current economic situation continues to put pressure on small businesses. Many people understandably have less budget for hobbies and home setups, while competition from much larger companies keeps increasing.

Although our costs have risen significantly, we can’t simply raise prices to compensate. Unlike big brands, we don’t have large investors behind us who can mass-produce, accept extremely low margins, or absorb losses for years.

We operate independently — and that means every decision has to be carefully balanced.

Our warehouse and pre-order system

Because of this financial pressure, we’re currently unable to keep large quantities of stock on hand — especially when it comes to our tabletops, which are expensive to produce and store due to their many variations.

To handle this responsibly, we’ve introduced a pre-order system. This helps us plan demand more accurately and allows you to secure promotional prices even if delivery takes a little longer.

Our tabletop manufacturer typically requires 30–40 days, and depending on raw material availability, this can sometimes extend to 50+ days.

For certain components sourced overseas, delivery times can exceed three months. If demand rises unexpectedly, products may sell out earlier than anticipated, which can further extend waiting times.

Because not all of this is predictable, delivery estimates may vary — but we’re committed to communicating them as transparently as possible.

We’re continuously working to improve the business — and your experience with us. Despite the current challenges, I truly stand behind our products. There is honestly no other desk I would rather have in my own home or office.
