Everything you need to know about returning products

I don't like the product – can I return it?
Yes, thanks to our 30-day money-back guarantee, you can return products to us within 30 days if you don't like them. Please note:
- You bear the return shipping costs in this case. We will issue you a return label and deduct the amount from the refund. The costs are as follows:
- Accessories or Entry models only: €9.99 per parcel (multiple add-ons can also be packed into a single larger box to save costs). Returns must be dropped off independently at the post office / DHL.
- Desk components (Pro desk frames and tabletops): €39.99 within Germany. Add-ons can also be added here at no extra charge if needed. The goods are collected by our logistics partner GEL.
- Surcharge for international returns: an additional €10 per parcel.
- A return is only possible if the product is sent back complete, undamaged and carefully packaged. Compensation for value loss may apply under certain circumstances – see the section below.
- Unfortunately, we cannot refund damaged products.
- The refund will be issued as soon as we have received and inspected the goods.
I have already assembled the desk – can I still return it?
Yes, a return is also possible after assembly. However, in this case we must withhold a compensation for value loss of the tabletop, as it shows visible marks from being screwed to the frame and can no longer be sold as new.
The flat-rate compensation amounts are:
- Pro tabletops: €100
- Aura tabletops: €200
- Entry desks: €50 (as the tabletop and frame are delivered together in a single box)
- Pro desk frames: no compensation
- Add-ons / accessories: no compensation
When does the compensation apply?
- Scenario: Box opened, product unpacked, but you don't like it → No compensation required.
- Scenario: Desk frame assembled, tabletop loosely placed on top (not screwed on) → No compensation required.
- Scenario: Tabletop screwed to the frame or otherwise altered → Compensation required.
Our tip before you start screwing:
- If you want to see the desk fully set up first: Assemble the desk frame and carefully place the tabletop on top without screwing it on. This gives you a complete impression without leaving any marks.
- If you are unsure about the colour or design choice: Reach out to our support team beforehand. We are happy to send you additional photos or videos of the respective variant so you can make an informed decision.
I received the product damaged – what happens now?
No worries – in this case, the statutory warranty of course applies. You are entitled to a flawless product. Please:
- Contact us immediately when you notice damage.
- Document the defect with photos, including the packaging upon arrival.
- If we recall the product for inspection, we cover the return shipping costs.
- Important to know: We only arrange a pickup if we need it for inspection. If that is not the case, you are responsible for disposal yourself.
🇬🇧 Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within one month without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is one month from the day on which
- you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the goods, if you have ordered one or more goods as part of a single order and these are delivered together;
- you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the last good, if you have ordered several goods as part of a single order and these are delivered separately;
- you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the last partial shipment or the last item, if you have ordered goods that are delivered in several partial shipments or pieces.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (ODYN GmbH, Oststraße 116, 40210 Düsseldorf, Germany, phone: +49 211 97533528, email: support@leetdesk.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for the additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract.
We will carry out the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise; in no case will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever occurs first.
You must return or hand over the goods without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal from this contract, to the following address:

The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
You shall bear the direct costs of returning parcel-shippable and non-parcel-shippable goods. The specific return shipping costs are listed in the section “Specification of Return Shipping Costs” below.
Specification of Return Shipping Costs
For parcel-shippable goods (e.g. accessories and Entry models), return shipping costs amount to €9.99 per parcel within Germany.
For non-parcel-shippable goods (e.g. desk frames and tabletops of the Pro and Aura models), return shipping costs amount to €39.99 within Germany. In this case, collection is carried out by our logistics partner GEL Express.
For returns from abroad, an additional surcharge of €10.00 per parcel applies.
Any applicable return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund.
Compensation for Loss in Value & Packaging
You must compensate for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is the result of handling them in a way that was not necessary to assess their nature, characteristics and functioning (§ 357 (7) German Civil Code, BGB).
Compensation for value loss after assembly (alteration of condition)
Screwing the tabletop to the desk frame constitutes an action that goes beyond the mere inspection of the goods. The visible pressure marks and indentations caused by the screwing process mean that the tabletop can no longer be sold as new. This results in a permanent loss of value due to alteration of the product's condition.
In such cases, we charge the following flat-rate compensation amounts, which will be deducted from the refund:
- Product: Pro Tabletop (screwed on): €100
- Product: Aura Tabletop (screwed on): €200
- Product: LeetDesk Entry (unpacked and assembled): €50
- Product: LeetDesk Pro Desk Frame: €0
- Add-On Products: €0
For the Entry desk, the compensation is charged regardless of whether the tabletop has been screwed on, as the tabletop and frame are delivered together in a single package and unpacking typically goes hand in hand with assembly.
When is no compensation charged?
No compensation will be charged if:
- You merely unpack and inspect the product, as you would be able to do in a physical store;
- You assemble the desk frame and place the tabletop loosely on top without screwing it on;
- You return only accessories or add-ons, provided they are complete and undamaged.
Recommendation to avoid the value loss compensation
To receive the full refund amount, we recommend:
- Before screwing anything together: First assemble the desk frame and place the tabletop on it without screws to get an overall impression.
- Before ordering: If you are unsure about the colour, grain or appearance of certain variants, please contact our support team at support@leetdesk.com. We are happy to send you additional photos or videos of the respective model variant.
Packaging of the return shipment
A return is only possible if the goods are sent back complete, undamaged and securely packaged, ideally in the original packaging or in equivalent protective packaging.
Any damage resulting from improper or insufficient packaging during the return transport shall be borne by the customer and may lead to a partial or full loss of the refund entitlement.
Damage & Warranty
If, within the scope of statutory warranty rights or damage assessment, a return shipment is required for technical or qualitative inspection, we will organize collection of the goods at our expense.
Collection will only take place if it is necessary for inspection. If this is not the case, proper disposal of the goods is the responsibility of the customer.
Exclusion or Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts:
- for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for which an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer;
- for the supply of goods that are liable to deteriorate rapidly or whose expiration date would be quickly exceeded;
- for the supply of alcoholic beverages, the price of which was agreed at the time of contract conclusion, but which can only be delivered at least 30 days after contract conclusion and whose actual value depends on market fluctuations over which the trader has no control;
- for the supply of newspapers, magazines, or periodicals, with the exception of subscription contracts.
The right of withdrawal expires prematurely for contracts:
- for the supply of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, if their seal has been removed after delivery;
- for the supply of goods which, after delivery, have been inseparably mixed with other goods due to their nature;
- for the supply of sound or video recordings or computer software in a sealed package, if the seal has been removed after delivery.
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal, we offer a voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee.
Under this guarantee, products may be returned within 30 days of receipt, even if the statutory right of withdrawal has already expired.
The customer bears the return shipping costs under the money-back guarantee. The flat rates specified in the section “Specification of Return Shipping Costs” apply.
This guarantee is a voluntary additional service and does not restrict your statutory rights, in particular the right of withdrawal.
