Gamers Gear configured a LeetDesk Pro and shows everything from assembly to the finished setup. The guiding question is a familiar one: is the desk worth the money?

The desk in the video has a 180 x 80 cm Darkwood tabletop, a Shadow Black edge and the Cockpit shape, plus a cable tray. We provided the desk for the video.

Assembly

The LeetDesk Pro arrives in parts, so a bit of screwdriver work comes with it. Gamers Gear needed about an hour and praises the instructions for describing everything precisely. When it comes to turning the assembled desk over, the video recommends getting a second person, because the construction is heavy. We are happy to pass that tip along.

Height adjustment and memory function

The desk travels between 63 and 128 cm at around 38 mm per second. At 2 m tall, Gamers Gear needs a little over 1.20 m when standing, which still leaves room to spare. Adjusting the height is fairly quiet in the test. Three heights can be saved and recalled at the push of a button.

The anti-collision system is a particular favourite in the video: if the desk meets an obstacle while moving, it stops and travels back a short distance.

The tabletop

According to Gamers Gear, the 25 mm MDF tabletop feels very good. Even the cats in the house, who like to race across the desk with their claws out, have not left a single scratch. Fingerprints show up now and then, especially after eating at the desk, and wiping it down regularly takes care of that.

One note from us: the video also mentions our Ghost Touch coating at this point. It is only available for the Dark and Light tabletops, so the Darkwood tabletop in the test does not have it.

Is the LeetDesk Pro worth it?

Price remains the sticking point for Gamers Gear, and extras such as the cable tray, monitor arm or PC holder cost extra. On the plus side are the 120 kg load capacity, the stability and the space on the 180 cm wide tabletop. The answer in the video is clear: quality costs money, and if you buy cheap, you buy twice.

The desk is recommended for anyone who sits at a desk a lot and wants to keep working or gaming while standing, or get some steps in on a treadmill.
